Not sure if we’ve mentioned it, but we’re getting married. This week! Yowzers. We’ll be proper grown-ups… Or maybe not. But regardless, when planning out the decorations for our upcoming nuptials we rapidly came to the conclusion that along with flowers, lighting is one of the most important aesthetic elements of the big day. Lighting can do so much to help establish and maintain a mood, which is why we invested a ripe old chunk of our budget on this feature. Alongside canopy lanterns and fairy lights adoring the ceilings we’ve also sourced a wax factory’s worth of candles for visual warmth and a romantic atmosphere. What better way to frame their flicker than these ceramic Kerr Mason jars, taking an iconic design and swapping out the material for a timeless wedding feature. Wish us luck!

It was so interesting being on my first photo shoot that I thought I’d share some behind the scenes pics of the Magpie Miller shoot to show some elements that go into a day of shooting. I hope you enjoy!

Charlotte is an extremely talented individual and an […]

Now, I do love a bit of wallpaper. By simply adding some bright or patterned wallpaper you can lift a room in no time with minimum fuss. It’s basically a big rubber stamp that says “this is my home and this is my taste”. Anyone who visits can immediately see this visual calling card. The fact […]
